This questions prompted me to come up with this post so that i can answers to all your questions. So this post will be all about how to know if your admission is certain.

You want to know how certain your admission is? Then i will advise you to read this carefully. The following are ways to know if your admission is sure;
GOOD WAEC RESULT
This is one thing on the list. You must have a very good and outstanding WAEC result in order to be certain of this year's admission. You all know the new system of admission which is screening, for you to have high point you must have a good grade in your WAEC result.
For instance, a student got nine A1 while another student got nine B3 in their WAEC result, although both of them have a good result but the student with nine A1 have higher advantage and chances than the student with nine b3.
HIGH JAMB SCORE
Students with high JAMB score are always certain for admission. Due to the new system of admission which is screening, your JAMB score also have a lot to do to your admission this year. Good WAEC grades and high JAMB score will surely bring you the admission you are seeking for.
CHOOSE LESS COMPETITIVE COURSE
As for those that does not have a very good WAEC result or high JAMB score, this is your best resort. For you to be certain of this year admission with your not-so good results, you have to change to a less competitive course like microbiology, physics, mathematics, chemistry if you are a science student, English language, literature if you are an art student.

SURPASSING THE PREVIOUS YEARS CUT OFF MARKS
You should learn to do this little exercise if you want to be certain of admission this year. You need to calculate your screening point and compare it with the previous year's cut-off mark. By doing this, you will know your fate for this year's admission.
Take note that you should never hope for the cut off mark to reduce this year because there are little chances that it might reduce due to the increasing number of students that sit for JAMB exam every year.

It might sound funny or odd to you, but you and I know that this is very true. If you know any lecturer in the school then you should be certain for admission this year. But to me, it is not advisable, it is better you get admitted based on merit, i mean your WAEC and JAMB result.
